According to the specs I found for mrpowa, it looks like 20-80v is the mppt working range for a 12v battery. So you should be good there, but I find it odd a solar charge controller with mppt (maximum power point tracking) would require varying pv input max voltage in relation to battery voltage. Does this seem more like a pwm controller?
